Description of processing
We process the following personal data in connection with your visit to our website:
Provision of content and logging
The web server's access logs record which pages were accessed and at what time. The logs contain the following data: IP, directory protection user, date, time, pages viewed, protocols, status code, volume of data, referrer, user agent, accessed hostname.
The IP addresses are stored anonymously. For this purpose the final three characters are removed, i.e. 127.0.0.1 becomes 127.0.0.*. IPv6 addresses are also anonymized. The anonymized IP addresses are retained for 60 days. Information about the directory protection log user is anonymized after one day.
Error logs recording erroneous page views are deleted after seven days. In addition to the error messages they also include the accessing IP address and, depending on the error, the accessed website.
The legal basis for processing lies in our legitimate interest, pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR, to operate the website and be able to investigate technical occurrences or security-related incidents. The data is automatically deleted after 30 days.
